In recent years, many objects have evolved towards a more monolithic, simple and smooth formal appearance, in which their constituent parts are barely distinguishable.
This affects the way we perceive them and, in a certain sense, their contemporaneity.
A frameless object eliminates cumbersome joints and provides a diaphanous sensation with which we better appreciate the colour of the surface, its texture and its proportion.
In the case of this innovative programme of folding systems called UD, the elimination of the frame also allows its dimensions to be slightly reduced, both in width and height, to have maximum space in the room when the bed is not in use.
FEATURES OF UD FOLDING BEDS
FUNCTIONAL:
The integrated handles also function as legs on the single and lower beds. They lower automatically by gravity and have a hidden locking system that prevents them from folding unintentionally when they are resting on the floor. These can be adjusted and levelled to ensure correct placement, as the programme has included hidden levellers in the furniture structure that can be adjusted from the inside.
Other details to highlight are the cut-out to save skirting boards and a trim on the lower part of the ceiling.
COMPACT:
All the beds in the UD programme are based on the same principle of saving space, so that when the bed is not in use the room is freed up for other uses.
INTEGRABLE:
One of the main advantages of the UD folding beds is their ability to integrate with other furniture in the collection, such as wardrobes, lofts, drawers, etc., ensuring a flush and homogeneous appearance to the whole.
SAFE:
Safety is the most important aspect, especially with the smallest users in mind, for this reason the safety of these beds has been reinforced, incorporating an automatic locking mechanism for opening the bed and on the access ladder.
Other minor improvements worth mentioning:
The cumbersome mattress fastening straps have been replaced by unlosable elastic straps and the protective barriers have been improved.
ACCESSIBLE:
As practical as they are, we have to admit that when it comes to cleaning beds, we forget about all their other benefits. It has always been uncomfortable and cumbersome to access all the corners of the upper bed. Now, that is just a bad memory of times gone by, because UD beds incorporate a position that tilts the bed thirty-five degrees to facilitate this operation.
The UD series horizontal folding beds are available in various sizes. Thanks to a surprisingly strong, thin and light structure, the UD horizontal bed is perfect for rooms or spaces where there is not much depth. The optional pillow-holding strap is shown in the image.
Available in different sizes in single and double versions, UD vertical beds solve any space problem without penalizing functionality
